APL Training are thrilled to announce that a brand new training module, Towers with Cantilevers, is scheduled to launch on the 18th April 2016.
What is the course about?
The new Towers with Cantilevers is the latest in a series of advanced modules. The course is intended for the more experienced tower user and explains the principles of counterbalance calculations for the use of kentledge in cantilever applications and much more.
At the course’s launch, PASMA’s Director of Training, Stuart Hopkins, said: “Towers are a great option for a wide range of jobs, but they are often ignored because people can sometimes think of them as only being for quick up-and-down jobs. The advanced structures will be used in much more complex situations than in our previous courses, which will be a huge advantage to our Hire and Assembly Members.”
Who can attend this course?
Anyone who is experienced in using towers and is to be given responsibility for the assembly, dismantling, alteration, moving and inspection and use of mobile access towers with cantilevers in a standard configuration. Given the more complex concepts involved, this course will be a fresh challenge to both instructors and delegates and in order to be eligible, delegates must have already passed PASMA’s Towers for Users course.
As we get closer to the launch date, we’ll be updating our website with the full course outline and details on how to book will yourself onto this course. If you have any questions about the new course, please do not hesitate to contact APL Training by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or phoning 01942 262993.
