What is NPORS?
NPORS, short for National Plant Operators Registration Scheme is one of the UK’s leading Accreditation and Registration Bodies, working across the Construction, Industrial, Utilities, Warehousing and Distribution, Agricultural, Ports and Marine sectors.
The main objective of the NPORS accreditation is to offer flexibility whilst maintaining standards, both nationally and internationally by working with industry and Accredited Training Providers.
The intention of the Telehandler Forklift Course is to provide candidates with the basic awareness and practical skills in order to operate a Telehandler Forklift to the NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) standard.

Personnel who, as part of their operational duties, are required to operate a telehandler.

An NPORS card is much more flexible than other schemes, giving you the ability to:
- Include attachments – E.g. Telescopic Handler – with Bucket attachment.
- Restrict the card for Operational reasons – E.g. 180 Excavator – restricted to front bucket use only.
- Restrict the card for Commercial reasons – E.g. Restricted for use on A Company Ltd sites only.
What does this course allow me to do?
Upon completion of the NPORS assessments you will be issued with an NPORS Operator Card allowing you to completely operate the machinery for any task.
